CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS

When Using the Accelerator Pedal

1. Depress the accelerator pedal to

accelerate the vehicle.

2. When the accelerator pedal is

released, your vehicle automatically

decelerates to the set vehicle

speed or the speed for following

the preceding vehicle. Then, the

control is continued. By depressing

the accelerator pedal during the

adaptive cruise control operation, the

vehicle speed can be increased to

more than or equal to the set vehicle

speed. However, if the vehicle speed

is increased to 150 km/h (93 MPH)

or more, the adaptive cruise control

is canceled and you need to drive

the vehicle normally. At this time,

a warning buzzer sounds and the

adaptive cruise control indicator light

comes on white.

To restart the adaptive cruise control,

press the SET switch or RES switch

at 130 km/h (80 MPH) or less. When

the adaptive cruise control restarts,

the adaptive cruise control indicator

light comes on green.
