CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS

Engine Hood Open Warning Light

When the engine hood is open or not

completely closed, this message is

displayed.

Light Control OFF Warning Light

This message appears on the display when

the lights are on while all the following

conditions are met.

• The light control switch is placed in

the "

" or "

" position.

• The power mode is "OFF" (models

with passive entry and start system)

or the starter switch is in the "LOCK"

position (models without passive entry

and start system).

• The driver side door is open.

A warning buzzer sounds at the same time.

When the light control switch is placed in

the "OFF" position, the warning light will

go out and the warning buzzer will stop

sounding.
