4.6.2.4. Delete Image(s) at
This function will re-
move all images be-
longing to a scanned
page, whenever a cer-
tain scan-time event
occurs. In the configu-
ration screen, you may
choose a suitable entry
from the event list (
see
chapter
drop-down menu in
field
Delete Image(s) at
. Please note that the event itself (
e.g. a patch code was detected
) is memorized,
whereas all affected images are immediately deleted. Such a deletion will be flagged with a red X, in
the stream information area of the scan screen (
see chapter
4.6.2.5. Front/Rear Side Settings
Using the menus of the
Front/Rear Side Settings
it is determined which
images are created du-
ring a scanning opera-
tion and which settings
will be used therefore.
Images are only stored
for image types that are
enabled on the left side
in these masks. If no
image type is activated for the rear side, it is called simplex scan. If more than one image type is en-
abled on one side, it is called dual- or multi-stream. With the fields on the right side one comes to the
respective settings. Checking
Stream Control
will enable dynamic switching between image types,
while scanning.
Blank Page Detection
will perform automatic deletion or earmarking of any images
without discernible content.
Above features will be explained in more detail, below. Since all related settings are identical for front
and back pages, they will only be discussed once, and only sample screens for front pages will be
shown.
4.6.2.5.1. Color
This menu item will turn the color stream on or
off. Configure the properties of color images
with the following three settings pages:.
General
: The
Copy to Back
option which is enabled by
default will apply all set-
tings made for front color
images to the reverse side.
A similar option is available
when configuring back co-
lor images, this option is labelled
Copy to Front
and will do the exact opposite. If you require identical
front and back settings, then checking this option will eliminate the need to configure them twice.
