Dust
Over time, dust can collect on the vents and other exposed parts
(e.g. heat exchangers). It can be removed carefully with a vacuum
cleaner.
Clean drip tray
You can clean the drip tray using water (max. 2 L) and mild deter-
gent. We recommend flushing the drip tray with hot water to re-
move all nutrient residue after a flask has broken. The cleaning wa-
ter can be drained via the drain pipe on the front of the casing. To
do so, proceed as follows:
ATTENTION
Water that splashes into the bearings and electronics in the top
cover can damage the equipment.
As such, cleaning must be performed carefully and using as lit-
tle liquid as possible.
Procedure
1. Remove the cover cap on the front of the casing underneath
the door (2).
2. Remove the drain pipe (1) from the holder in the interior and
place it into the nozzle on the drip tray.
3. Place a suitable vessel underneath the drain pipe.
4. Pull the red plug (3) from the drain nozzle.
5.
Drain and flush the drip tray.
6.
Insert the plug back into the drain nozzle.
7. Pull out the drain pipe and place it in the holder.
8.
Place the cover cap on the opening.
