Adjust limitation setting
Remote stations can adjust the sound quality or audio
codec. Higher audio qualities will increase the amount
of data, which can cause voice delay or jumpiness, de-
pending on the network condition.
The Server can limit the maximum level of the sound
quality or audio codec.
Remote stations cannot program higher values than
the values programmed here.
• The following settings are not included with the IC-7850
and IC-7851. However, the settings are originally fixed in
those transceivers.

Sample Rate.”

sampling rate that Remote stations can adjust.
Higher sampling rates will improve the audio qual-
ity. However, they also increase the amount of data,
which can cause voice delay or jumpiness, depend-
ing on the network condition.
Lower sampling rates will decrease the audio qual-
ity. However, they also decrease the amount of data.
• For the IC-7850 and IC-7851, the rates are fixed to:
8kHz, 12kHz, 16kHz, 24kHz, 48kHz.
