Figure 4-37 on page 134 and Figure 4-38 on page 135 display the following
information regarding the partition:

Node 1 (primary node)

– Partition 1.

– Node 1 of 2.

– Eight processors in total: Four in node 1 and four in node 2.

– 8 GB total memory: Four GB in node 1 and four GB in node 2.

– Checkpoint 42-53 shows the current checkpoint. This will eventually reach

the last checkpoint and begin the second part of the boot procedure.

Node 2 (secondary node)

– Partition 1.

– Node 2 of 2.

– Four processors for node 2. This is reflected in the position of the figure 4

in the second processor field.

– 4 GB memory for node 2. This is reflected in the position of the figure 4 in

the second memory field.

– Checkpoint 29-44. This is the last checkpoint reached on a secondary

node. The boot process will stop on this node at this point.

Node 1 will continue with the second part of the boot procedure and enumerate
all of the hardware on all of the nodes. It will eventually boot to the EFI Firmware
Boot Manager.

4.2.3 Multiple Monitors

Normally a secondary node will stop at checkpoint 29-44 and the information
displayed on the screen at that time will remain. However, if you have installed
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition and have enabled multiple monitors,
the monitors on the secondary nodes become part of one large virtual monitor.
