HYDRO-VIEW USER GUIDE

REV 1.06
Suggested working values
The example configurations given in this section should be used as a guide in developing
your own systems. However, the applications of the Hydro-View are not limited to these
applications. The examples show the minimum configurations required and in general do
not show variations in the use of interfacing techniques, each of which is described
elsewhere.
The following tables give recommended working values for the three examples described
in
Applications of Hydro-View with Hydronix moisture sensors
(p10). These should be
treated as starting points, although in practice very little tuning should be required. These
values will need to be adjusted to suit changes to interfacing arrangements which may
have been employed.

1
Depends on rotational speed of mixer. This is three rotations at 2.5 seconds.
2
Depends on time constants in feedback control system. This will give a response time of around 10 seconds.
3
Normally set to reflect the absorption properties of material in ready-mix applications.
