12. Install the filter cover (2). Check the correct installation of the seal (4).
13. Tighten the screws of the cover (1).
The replaced oil must not be disposed of in the
environment. It must be disposed of as required by
local laws.
Used filter cartridges must be disposed of in
compliance with applicable laws.
Hydraulic hammer system filters (if included)
The cartridges of the two filters (T, P) are not the same
T = hydraulic hammer return
P = hydraulic hammer delivery
1.
Wait for the parts that require attention to cool off
2.
Clean the area around the filters and connections.
3.
Place a container under the drain hole
4.
Remove the drain plug.
5.
Remove the filter cover.
6.
Withdraw filter cartridge.
7.
Let all oil drip off the cartridge.
8.
Inspect the cartridge.
An excessive build-up of contaminants on the cartridge may cause the following anomalies:
-
leaks in the hydraulic system: check the seals of the hydraulic system, especially the
parts of the hydraulic system which are immersed in mud or water during operation.
-
deterioration of hydraulic oil: take some samples of the hydraulic oil for laboratory testing
If the oil is excessively deteriorated or contaminated, it must be completely replaced (

9.
Lubricate the threaded filter of the cover and the gaskets.
