CRAWLER TRACK TENSION CHECK
Place the machine on a solid, level surface, possibly
concrete or asphalt.
1.
Clean the upper part of the tracks.
2.
Place on the upper part of the track a ruler on the
longest chain section without support (see picture
).
The measured camber value, for correct traction of the
chain, must be 25 mm.
a)
When the measured camber value is greater than 25
mm, inject grease form the valve of the track tensioner.
Move the machine and check and again check the flex
value.
b)
When the measured camber value is less than 25 mm,
loosen the track tensioner a maximum of one turn to
release grease. Move the machine and check and again
check the flex value.
If the track fails to slacken, consult Hütte Bohrtechnik GmbH
WARNING!
The grease in the track tensioner is under pressure and may be violently forced out of
the valve. Take all precautions to prevent pressurized grease from harming persons or
property.
NOTE:Slight differences from the indicated flex values are permissible, more for muddy, soggy
terrain and less for rocky, broken ground.

HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT (

If leaks are discovered in the hydraulic system, perform the following checks:
a)
check the level of oil contamination;
b)
change the hydraulic oil if necessary;
