UPS is required to function as the AC potential power, which should be the same phase as
mains. The switching time for UPS and mains should be less than 10 ms; otherwise, the
device will reboot or reset.
For power distribution capacity in the equipment room, the working current and fault current
of the device should be calculated. Ensure that independent AC power supply protects the
independent device. Configure the current capacity of the protection switch of the equipment
room as greater than the current capacity of the device.
Table A-38 describes the voltage range of AC power supply for the device.

As an automated generator set, the independently acquired electric generator set of
telecommunication server with the standard interface supports telecommunication protocol,
remote telecommunication, monitoring, and control by adopting automatic input, removal,
and supply.
AC power cables should meet the following requirements:
l AC neutral uses the conductor with the same cross section as the phase line.
l
AC wires are non-flammable and comply with local regulations. Low-voltage power
distribution rooms comply with local regulations.
AC Power Supply Recommendations
Recommendations for AC power supply are as follows:
l If the power voltage of the mains, which supplies power for the device directly, exceeds
the rated voltage by -10% to 5% or exceeds the voltage range that the device can
support, a voltage regulating device or voltage stabilizing device is required.
l If the mains does not supply power for the device directly, the mains voltage exceeds the
rated voltage by -15% to 10%, or exceeds the voltage range that the DC power supply
device allows AC to input, a voltage regulating device or voltage stabilizing device is
required.
l The UPS system or inverter power supply system is required for uninterrupted or non-
transient telecommunication load of AC.
l When an abnormality occurs on mains, the telecommunication server should be equipped
with independently acquired electric generator set as power supply to ensure the key
