Follow-up Procedure

After replacing the PEM, collect all tools. If the replaced PEM is faulty, fill in the

Transmission Sheet

and send the faulty module with the Repair Transmission Sheet to the

equipment supplier or the specified repair service provider.

3.4.2 Replacing the DC PEM of the USG9560

This section describes the procedure for replacing the DC power module of the USG9560.

Precautions

l

Before replacing a PEM, power it off by turning off the corresponding air circuit breaker
on the power distribution cabinet. The PEM to be replaced is powered off. In addition,
you need to switch off the PEM.

l

The USG9560 has four PEMs, You can power off one PEM during replacement.

Step 1

Check the location of the PEM to be replaced.

Before removing the old PEM, check its location, that is, the cabinet and chassis where the
