Adding or replacing an optional module must be performed by a trained technician or
maintenance personnel.
Adding or replacing a power supply unit requires connecting or disconnecting the
power cable. If an untrained person performs the operation and mishandles the
power cable, a fire or electric shock could result.
In addition, using optional modules incorrectly could result in injury or Device

pin or paper clip.
When pressing the button on the front panel of the control and switching unit, do not

such as a pin or paper clip. Doing so could result in a fire or electric shock.
When adding or replacing a power supply unit, disconnect the power supply
cable.
When adding or replacing a power supply unit, disconnect the power cable from the
power supply unit that will be replaced.
If the power cable is connected and the power switch is turned off, power is still
supplied to some circuits. For this reason, adding or replacing a power supply unit
with the power cable connected could result in a fire or electric shock.
Do not use an air duster near a flame.
When cleaning the optical connectors, do not use an air duster that contains
flammable gas near a flame. Doing so could result in a fire.
