4. Release the star-grip screws (1).
5. Lift up the lid (4) and remove it.
6. Check the fill level of the ash containers (3).
7. If the ash containers (3) are full, empty them.
8. Fasten the transport handle (5) on the ash container (3).
9. Lift up the clamp handle (2) and release the ash container (3).
10. Pull the ash container (3) forward out of the ash channel of the ash
removal system.
11. Empty the ash into a fireproof container.
12. If the ash containers (3) are not yet full, reclose them.
13. Mount the lid (4) on the ash container (3) and install the ash con-
tainer (3) in the boiler in the reverse sequence.
14. Repeat the process for the second ash container.

Caution!
Damage from smoke
If the ash necks are empty or the ash containers are not at least half-
filled when commissioning or re-starting after cleaning, there is a
danger of smoke coming from the boiler.
Make sure that both ash containers or the ash necks are at least half-
filled with ash or sand.
