6 Using the heating system

6.1 Control unit HDG Control

✎

You can find all information and instructions for setting up and
operating the boiler and weather-compensated heating control
HDG Control in the operating manual “HDG Control”.

6.2 Filling the fuel storage room

EQUIREMENTS

The following requirements must be met before the fuel storage can
be filled:

•

The fuel storage has been initially approved by an authorised spe-
cialist.

•

The fuel storage is dry and free of any foreign bodies.

•

The requirements of government safety organisations must be
met.

ROCEDURE

FOR

FILLING

WITH

WOOD

CHIPS

1.

Switch the heating system on.

✎

See the “HDG Control” operating manual, chapter “5 Using the
control unit”, section “5.2 Switching on the heating system”.

2.

Manually run the delivery system for 30 seconds or until the arms
are folded into the dome at the start of the filling process.

3.

Fill the fuel storage room.

✓

The filling of the fuel storage is completed.

Warning!

Damage to delivery system during filling

If the heating system is not switched on during filling of the fuel
storage, the overload protection of the delivery system could be
triggered when the heating system is switched on after the filling.

When filling the fuel storage for the first time, activate the delivery
system by switching in manual operation. Check each time when
filling that the heating system is running in automatic mode.
