(V)oltage
This menu item provides information on the voltage remaining in the battery. The voltage of
fully charged batteries is approximately 4.19 V. If the battery voltage falls below ca. 3.0 V,
the Actilino turns itself off. You can thus use
(V)oltage
to estimate your battery status. We
recommend replacing the rechargeable battery if you notice the voltage decreasing
unusually rapidly.
5.1.11.2.3
(S)tatus
This function displays the battery status. This can be one of the following values:
’Running on batteries’
: The Actilino receives its power from the battery which is being
discharged.
’Fast charging’:
The battery is receiving a high recharge voltage for fast charging from the
power outlet.
’Charging’:
The battery is only receiving a maintenance charge, if the Actilino is connected
to a computer via USB
’On USB power’:
Actilino is connected via USB with the PC. There is no charging nor
discharging of the battery. The power is provided by the USB interface.
’On power supply’:
The power supply is plugged in and connected via a USB cable. There
is no charging nor discharging of the battery. The power is provided by the power outlet.
In order to recharge the battery, simply connect the included power supply to the USB C
interface. The battery will recharge in six to eight hours. Recharging occurs entirely
automatically
— it is not possible to overcharge the battery. The Actilino automatically
switches from an initially high recharging voltage to a very low voltage just to maintain a full
charge.

(K)eyboard layout
This function displays the language of the keyboard table currently used by the Actilino.
Keyboard tables are available for several languages and the included Keyboard Layout
Compiler (BKC) can be used to create custom key assignments.
5.1.11.4
(S)erial number
With this function, you can check the serial number of your Actilino. This can be useful for
service purposes.
5.1.11.5
(V)ersions
Here you can check the versions of several software modules of the Actilino.
5.1.11.5.1
firmware
You can use this function to display the version number of the firmware. This is the same
version number that is displayed when you power up your Actilino in save mode.
5.1.11.5.2
usb host
This module controls the connection of USB devices. At the moment, only USB keyboards
are supported.
