ENGINE AND DRIVE SYSTEMS
4-2
7. Allow a warm-up period of at least five
(5) minutes before operating the engine
at a high RPM.
NOTE: The engine must reach operating
temperature and oil pressure must
stabilize in the normal operating
range before it is run faster than an
idle speed (1000 RPM or less).
Cold oil may not flow in quantities to
adequately prevent pump seizure. A
longer warm-up period may be
required in cold weather.
8. Disengage the parking brake.
Jump Starting
1. Engage the parking brake.
2. Rotate the Battery Disconnect Switch
(located on the rear mainframe) to the
ON position.
3. Connect cables from charging device
(i.e. battery charger or another machine)
to the battery terminals - positive cable
to the positive terminal, and negative
cable to the negative terminal.
4. Allow batteries to charge approximately
5-10 minutes.
5. Engage the starter by starting the
machine.
6. Remove the charging cables in reverse
to the way you attached them (negative
cable first, then positive cable).
NOTE: Ensure that the charging cables do
not touch together or to any metal
surface.
7. Allow engine to idle for approximately 5
minutes to recharge the batteries.
NOTE: Longer idle time may be required,
depending on how depleted the
batteries are.
ENGINE MONITOR
Your machine is featured with an engine
monitoring system, which monitors engine
parameters. Refer to the manufacturer’s
operation manual for complete operating and
programming instructions.
NOTICE
Do not over-crank the starter. Failure to
comply may result in starter damage.

NOTICE
Immediately reduce engine speed and
shut ignition off if any red indicator lights
appear on the engine monitor.
Determine cause and correct issue
before continuing operation.
