2. Check valve spring (11), valve stem (12), and tube
seat (13). . :
• Use a tube nut to press in the tube seat insert
and tighten the nui until the insert bottoms in
the body.
3. O-ring (7) into the groove on the by-pass plug (6).
4. Press the plug into the body port.
5. V-lip seal (5) into the booster body.
• Make sure the seal lips face the large piston
bore.
• Use J 28681 and J 8092 (figure 6).
6. Washer (4) in the counterbore above the seal (5)V
7. Snubber (3) onto the control valve pushrod (figure

8. Control valve (2) into the piston bore.
• Use a twisting motion to work the rod past the

10. Seal (18) into the groove of the piston assembly

• Bolts (31) to 31 N-m (23 ft. lbs.).
25. Bolt and washer (28).
Tighten
•Bolt (28) to 13 N-m (120 in. lbs.).
NOTICE: Using a thick-blade wreinch in the
follow ing step m ay cause damage to the flow
sw itch as it is tightened down.
26. Flow switch (14) and O-ring (15).
Tighten

• Switch (14) to 10 N-m (96 in. lbs.).
