1 .6 .2 .6 Weigh Out
When the truck again arrives at the weighbridge on its way out of the factory, the ID numbers
appearing on the weigh in ticket are entered into the GS8920 Ticket Printer via its keyboard. In
addition the accumulator number to which the weights will be added is also entered. The truck drives
onto the weighbridge and the
WEIGH OUT
key is operated. The GS8920 Ticket Printer then awaits
entry of the tare register number appearing on the weigh in ticket. Following entry of the tare register
number the GS8920 determines whether the
weigh in
weight or
weigh out
weight is the larger.
Whichever weight is the greater is called the gross weight with the smaller called the tare weight. The
net weight is calculated and a weigh out ticket is printed.
Depending upon the way in which the GS8920 was installed, the “weigh out” ticket will be printed on
the same ticket as the “weigh in” ticket with the GS8920 automatically advancing the ticket to the
correct location, or the “weigh out” ticket will be printed on a new ticket. The weights are added to the
selected accumulator.

This “weigh out” ticket has been printed upon the same ticket
as the “weigh in”.
The GS8920 has AUTOMATICALLY advanced the
“weigh in” ticket to this point before printing the
“weigh out” section. The line advance is set during installation
of the GS8920.
The accumulator number and material code appear on the
weigh out printout.
The rolling print counter, if enabled, appears on the weigh out
printout.
The GS8920 determines if the
weigh in
weight is larger than
the
weigh out
weight and automatically calculates the
correct net weight.
