1 .6 .2 .2 Gross Weight from the Indicator, Tare Weight from a Tare Register.
In this example the gross weight is from the digital weight indicator and the tare weight from one of
the GS8920’s 50 tare registers. The net weight is computed by the GS8920 Ticket Printer and a ticket
is printed. The weights are added to the active accumulator.
The ticket printing has been set up as line left justified with gross, tare and net weights printed as well
as rolling number print counter. The time has been set up to be printed in 24 hour format.
The
AC+
key has been operated. Prior to keying
AC +
, the accumulator number 17 was selected
using the key
AC

number was not changed. A tare register number 49 was selected following the
TARE

The ticket heading is from the ALPHA name table and is name
reference number 49 & 50. The heading is only printed if it
was selected during installation of the GS8920.
The heading can be printed ENHANCED.
The descriptors for each of the IDs are from the ALPHA name
table and are name reference numbers 40 and 41. Up to 9 non
permanant IDs may be printed with up to 6 of them having a
descriptor from the ALPHA name table. The number of IDs
using descriptors from the ALPHA name table is set during
installation of the GS8920. Non permanant ID numbers which
do not have descriptors can be printed ENHANCED.
The ID number is only printed if it is not zero.
The tare register number is always printed when key tare is
enabled.
The active accumulator number is always printed.
The accumulator’s material code is only printed if it is not
zero. In this case, name ref. number 39 was used from the
ALPHA name table.
The time, date and device number are provided by the weight
indicator. The date and time may be configured in American or
European formats. Printing the device number can be avoided
by setting it to zero.
The 12 digit rolling print counter is incremented by 1 prior to
each print.
The GS8920 AUTOMATICALLY inserts the DECIMAL point
at the same location as the decimal point on the weight
indicator.
The Gross, Net and Tare weights are added to accumulator 20
and to the Security Register.
The weight portion of the printout can comprise Gross, Net and
Tare as shown or only Gross or only Net
The units of measure are selected from a range of 8 choices
during digital setup of the GS8920 Printer.
