If the GS8920’s key tare facility was enabled during installation then the GS8920 will use the tare
weight from its currently active tare register instead of the tare weight provided by the weight
indicator.
To display the active tare register number key
TARE
and then
ENTER
.
To select another tare register first key
TARE
. The message
tr —
is displayed and the numeral keys
may be used to enter a tare register number in the range 1 to 50 followed by the key
ENTER
to save
the selection.
In this example, the key sequence
TARE, 4, 9, ENTER
was used to select tare register 49.
Leading zeros are not required. If the selection had been tare register 6 rather than tare register 49 then
the key sequence would have been
TARE, 6, ENTER.
The active tare register will not be changed if an attempt is made to select a tare register outside the
range 1 to 50.
