1 .4 .7 Adding a Transactions Weight to an Accumulator with Copy.
The GS8920 always adds all of the weight, count and price data to the currently active accumulator.
So, adding a transaction’s details to an accumulator is simply a matter of first selecting the accumulator
and then operating the
AC +
or
AC -
keys to add or subtract the data from the accumulator.
If the GS8920’s stored tare is to be used, then the tare register should be selected before operating the
AC +
or
AC -
keys.
If the GS8920’s Item Entry and Pricing and Counting facility is in use then quantity and price data will
need to be entered following operation of the
AC +
or
AC -
key.
Selection of the accumulator register and tare register do not have to be made immediately prior to
operation of the accumulate key as these selections are permanently retained by the GS8920.
