6-1Keyboard
The PC style keyboard is necessary for some modes of operation of the system.
•
The alphanumeric keys are used to enter patient and doctor information, enter
run sequence titles, and annotation messages.
Each system includes a Keyboard as a standard component. The main Keyboard
is normally located in the control room.
6-2Mouse
The Mouse controls the movement of the cursor as displayed on the Image Moni-
tor.
•
Unless mentioned specifically in the instructions, all clicks refer to the left
mouse button.
6-3Radiology Control Interface Module (RCIM)
The Radiology Console Interface Module (RCIM) (
) controls
the power and reset functions for the system. The RCIM has the power on button,
reset button, an emergency stop button, and indicator lights. These functions are
described in Table 4 on page 6.
The RCIM is placed at the workstation between the monitors and the keyboard.
