SECTION 1
INTRODUCTION

1-1OTS (Overhead Tube Suspension)

The Overhead Tube Suspension (OTS) is the positioning device that supports the
X–ray tube and OTS Console.

Each suspension provides convenient movement and accurate positioning of the
equipment.

The X–ray Tube Overhead Suspension consists of four major elements

–The Overhead Stationary Rail System,

–The Telescopic Column and Carriage,

–Tube Support and User Interface (OTS Console).

–Multileaf Collimator.
