5.1.6 Advisory Messages
In Normal Mode of operation the G1000 system displays a variety of system messages and/or
annunciations to the operator and technician (Figure 5-6). System messages are normally
presented on the PFD and can be viewed by pressing the MSG softkey. This section provides a
listing of possible messages, alerts, and annunciations. Aircraft specific alerts are not covered in
this manual. The following advisory messages are intended to aid in isolating failures to a
defective LRU. They are not listed in their order of importance.
