To end the protocol, do one of the following:

•

To end with packed cells, or a more concentrated ending cell product,
press the STOP RESET button after the Supernatant-Out operation.

-or-

•

To end with resuspended cells, or a more diluted ending cell product, use
the following procedure:

a

Use the VALVE SELECTOR control to open the valve corresponding to
the desired processing/wash solution.

b

After the Supernatant-Out operation, press the AGITATE WASH IN
button.

c

Let the desired volume of processing/wash solution flow into the cell
processing bag, closely monitoring the volume added.

The total volume of cells and solution in the bag should not exceed
450 mL. If the total volume in the cell processing bag does exceed
450 mL, you will be unable to remove the centrifuge bowl cover. See
“Removing the Centrifuge Bowl Cover When the Cell Processing Bag is
Overfilled” on page 6-32.
