1 Predilute Operation
The Predilute operation (Figure 1-12) allows the starting cell product to be diluted
as necessary with processing/wash solution. To prevent fluid from entering the cell
processing bag, the clear tubing is clamped between the rotating seal and the
junction manifold. The cell product bag is placed on the tabletop. Pressing the
PREDILUTE button opens valve V2, allowing processing/wash solution to flow
into the cell product bag.

Applicable to Auto or Manual Mode
Existing Condition
• Cell processing set is installed.
• Starting cell product and solutions are connected.
• Cell product bag is placed on the tabletop.
• Clear tubing is clamped between the junction manifold and
the rotating seal.
Operation Starts
When
PREDILUTE is pressed.
Result
• V1 and V2 open.
• Fluid flows from the processing/wash solution container
(through V2) to the cell product bag (through V1).

Operation Ends
When
STOP RESET is pressed.
