5 Using The Pin-Diode Program Board
Prior to processing in the Automatic mode, protocol parameters must be
programmed using the pin-diode program board. Once the procedure is initiated, it
is possible to modify the parameters of the current cycle and subsequent cycles.
However, do not adjust the TIMER 1 and 2 settings during the Start/Spin
operation. When modifying the current cycle, it is only possible to change
operations that have not yet been executed.
When a new cycle is reached, the new parameters are executed. The current cycle is
indicated by an illuminated LED next to the corresponding cycle number (Figure
5-2).

Creating or Modifying a Program

Insert a pin into either the TIMER 1 or TIMER 2 socket, and set the
corresponding SPIN TIMER to the desired time.
If the timer is set to less than 15 seconds, the READY light does not turn on.

Program a VALVE and RCO (if desired) by inserting pins into the appropriate
sockets.

To end a protocol, program a STOP PC or STOP RC.
If all seven cycles are programmed with no stop, the protocol ends after the
Agitate/Wash-In operation of the eighth cycle. See “STOP PC” on page 5-4 or
“STOP RC” on page 5-4.
