Ready Light Does Not Illuminate

The READY status light does not illuminate.

Probable Cause

Action

The centrifuge covers are not completely closed.

Ensure the centrifuge covers are completely closed.

The centrifuge cover interlock latch is open (if applicable).

Turn the centrifuge cover interlock latch fully counterclockwise.

The hydraulic pump is not in the home (starting) position.

Verify that the PUMP RESTORE RATE is not set to zero.

Press the STOP RESET button.

Wait for the hydraulic pump to return to the home (starting)
position.

Metal debris is stuck to one of the sliding cover magnets.

Check that there is no metal debris around the sliding cover magnets
(a small magnet is embedded into each sliding cover on the right-
hand side).

The READY light is defective.

Place the priming cushion and disk in the centrifuge bowl.

Press the START SPIN button.

If the centrifuge spins, the READY light is defective. Proceed
with normal operation.

Contact a qualified service representative.

Internal malfunction.
