 (Clear Entry) key clears a partially completed keypad entry from the Control Display.

The 

RESET

 (Reset Calibrator) key aborts the current operating state of the 5820A and returns it 

to the power-up default state, except when operating under remote control.

The 

SETUP

 (Setup Menu) key puts the 5820A in the setup mode, displaying the setup menu in 

the control display. Setup options can be selected using the softkeys under the control display.

The 

EDIT FIELD

 (Edit Output Display Field) key and associated left/right arrow keys provide 

step adjustment of the output signals. If you press any of these keys or rotate the knob, a digit 
on the Output Display becomes highlighted and the output increments or decrements as the 
knob is rotated. If a digit rolls past 0 or 9, the digit to its left or right is carried. An error display 
appears on the Control Display, showing the difference between the original (reference) output 
and the new output.
