Introduction
This guide provides the required information to install an Extreme Networks

BlackDiamond
®
10K
series and/or Aspen™ switch. It also contains information about site location, switch functionality, and
switch operation.
This guide is intended for use by network administrators responsible for installing and setting up
network equipment. It assumes a basic working knowledge of:
