Installing the Aspen 8810 AC Power Cord Retaining
Bracket

Follow these steps to ensure proper installation of the Aspen 8810 AC power cord retaining bracket:

1

Ensure that all AC power cords are disconnected from the power source and from the power outlets
on front of the Aspen chassis.

2

Attach the ESD-preventive wrist strap, that is provided, to your wrist and connect the metal end of
the ESD-preventive wrist strap to the ground receptacle located on the top-left corner of the Aspen
chassis front panel.

3

Loosen all captive screws, located in the middle and on each end of the Aspen AC power cord
retaining bracket, using a #2 Phillips screwdriver as shown in

Figure 83

.
