multi X 2500

EOX determination

It is recommended to use the measuring cell "high sensitive" for analyzing samples

with low EOX content. The installation of this measuring cell is described in the

following section. The use of the measuring cell "sensitive" is described under AOX
determination in horizontal operating mode.
The measuring cells "high sensitive" is inserted to the chlorine module as follows:

Insert the measuring cell "high sensitive" with magnetic

stirring rod and lid into the chlorine module.

Fill the measuring cell with electrolyte (

→

"Preparing the

measuring cell", p. 78).

Insert the storage container for the sensor electrode into the

bracket in the door of the chlorine module.

Fill the storage container with approximately 2 to 3 ml of

internal electrolyte.

Insert the sensor electrode with pre-amplifier (1) into the

"Sen" opening of the measuring cell.

Insert the silver electrode (2) into the "Ag" opening.

Insert the platinum electrode with salt bridge (3) into the "Pt"

opening.

Insert the gas inlet tube (4) into the "Gas" opening.

Insert the adapter (5) into the central opening.

Connect the extraction hose for the acetic acid vapors with

the adapter.

Seal the opening (6) for the direct injection in the measuring

cell with a plug.
