How to Hold a Call
To hold a call, simply press the Hold button or press the Transfer button
and #12 on a single phone to hold a call.
To retrieve a call placed on hold, press the Hold button or press the
Transfer button followed by #12. If you set direct dial keys for specific C.O.
lines or extensions, the LED indicator will flash the amber light when they
are placed on hold. You can simply press the specific flashing indicator to
retrieve the call.
You can put up to 5 callers on hold at the same time. When multiple calls are on
hold, press #14 and the extension number to retrieve a specific internal call or
press #13 and the CO line extension number to retrieve a specific external call.
Transfer Timeout
Set the timeout of Transfer. When a call is blind-transferred to a target
extension but no one answered or the extension is busy, the call will be
transferred to the Auto Attendant after the timeout. The Auto Attendant will
guide the caller to other selections according to the settings of Transfer Options.
If the personal forwarding is set on the target extension, the call will be
forwarded according to the personal forwarding setting.
How to Transfer a Call
To transfer a call, please press the Transfer button (If you use an analog
phone, please press the hook flash.) and the destination extension number
during a call. You can wait for the receiver to pick up the phone and notify
him before you hang up the phone. You may also perform a Blind Transfer
by simply hanging up the phone after you press the Transfer button and
the extension number.
Inter-Digit Timeout
Inter-Digit Timeout is the “available timeout” between two input numbers. If
the extension user doesn’t press the next number over the Inter-Digit Timeout,
the system will see it as a typing ending signal and directly take the numbers
that are already dialed.
Max Trunk-to-Trunk Duration
