2.6.4 Checking the Alarm Sound Silence
Test set-up:

• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) to 10 L/min.
• Set the frequency adjuster (Freq.) to 10 1/min.
• Disconnect the test lung from the ventilation valve.
Oxylog 1000 should generate an audible alarm. The "Paw low" indicator
should turn red.
• During the inspiratory phase, press the silence button.
The audible alarm should stop. The silence indicator should turn yellow.
The audible alarm should restart after 2 minutes, at the latest.
