• Set the frequency adjuster (Freq.) to 10 1/min.
• Set the airway pressure (Paw) to right end stop.
• Set the Air Mix/ No Air Mix selector to the "Air Mix" position.
• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) to 7 L/min.
The oxygen analyzer (Oxydig) should show 55 vol.% O
2
(40 to 65 vol.% O
2
)
on its display.
• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) to 20 L/min.
The oxygen analyzer (Oxydig) should show 55 vol.% O
2
(40 to 65 vol.% O

on its display.
• Set the Air Mix/ No Air Mix selector to the "No Air Mix" position.
The oxygen analyzer (Oxydig) should show 100 vol.% O

on its display.
• Switch off Oxylog 1000 using the ON/OFF switch.
