2.6 Testing alarm logic and silence control
2.6.1 Testing supply pressure alarm (Pv)
Test set-up:

• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) to approx. 10 L/min.
• Set the frequency selector (Freq.) to 10 1/min.
• Set the ventilation pressure selector (Paw) to approx. 40 mbar (hPa).
• Set the Air Mix/No Air Mix selector switch to „No Air Mix“.
• Slowly close the pressure regulator of the test pressure reducer.
• Observe the pressure gauge of the test pressure reducer.
When the downstream pressure has reached a value of 2.2 bar to 1.9 bar,
the „Pv“ indicator lights up red. The supply pressure is inadequate.
• Slowly open the pressure regulator of the test pressure reducer.
When the downstream pressure has reached a value of 2.3 bar to 2.5 bar,
the „Pv“ indicator lights up green. The supply pressure is adequate.
