2.5 Checking the Minute Volume
Test set-up:

• Set the airway pressure adjuster (Paw) to right end stop.
• Set the frequency adjuster (Freq.) to 10 1/min.
• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) to various steps, see the following
table.
• Set the required "counterpressure" during the inspiratory phase using
the adjustable restrictor. (Read counterpressure on pressure gauge of
Oxylog 1000).
• Measure the minute volume with and without ambient-air enrichment,
see the following table.
