2.5 Testing minute volume
Test set-up:

• Set the ventilation pressure selector (Paw) to full right.
• Set the frequency selector (Freq.) to 10 1/min.
• Set the minute volume adjuster (MV) variably; see following table.
• Set the required „compensation pressure“ with the adjustable resistor
during the inhalation phase. (Read off the compensation pressure from
the pressure gauge of the Oxylog 1000).
• Determine the minute volume with and without enrichment of the
ambient air; see following table.
