Use the iPerf service
IX14 User Guide

When the iPerf server is enabled, the IX14 device will automatically configure its firewall rules
to allow incoming connections on the configured listening port. You can restrict access by
configuring the access control list for the iPerf server.
To enable the iPerf3 server:
WebUI
1. Log into the IX14 WebUI as a user with full Admin access rights.
2. On the menu, click
System
. Under
Configuration
, click
Device Configuration
.
The
Configuration
window is displayed.
3. Click
Services
>
iPerf
.
4. Click
Enable
.
5. (Optional) For
IPerf Server Port
, type the appropriate port number for the iPerf server
listening port.
6. (Optional) Click to expand
Access control list
to restrict access to the iPerf server:
n
To limit access to specified IPv4 addresses and networks:
a. Click
IPv4 Addresses
.
b. For
Add Address
, click
.
c. For
Address
, enter the IPv4 address or network that can access the device's iperf
service. Allowed values are:
l
A single IP address or host name.
l
A network designation in CIDR notation, for example, 192.168.1.0/24.
l
any
: No limit to IPv4 addresses that can access the iperf service.
d. Click
again to list additional IP addresses or networks.
