Long Term Storage, Preparation for Shipping

The following is recommended for long term storage and/or shipping of E-DWT-H:

Note

E-DWT-H is designed to be shipped with its reservoir full of calibration fluid. If the
instructions below are followed carefully, it is not necessary to empty the reservoir
prior to shipment.

•

IMPORTANT

: Close the reservoir cover fully by rotating it CW until snug.

•

IMPORTANT

: Close the reservoir shut off valve (on reservoir cover) by rotating it CW until snug.

•

IMPORTANT

: Plug the TEST1 and TEST2 ports. Use the stainless steel plugs provided with the

E-DWT-H. Tighten the gland that holds the plug.

•

Close the test shut off valve by rotating it CW until snug.

•

Remove (by unscrewing) the four variable volume handles on the front of the E-DWT.
