Verify that RPM4-E-DWT internal barometer reads atmospheric pressure within
± 0.15 psi (1 kPa). Adjust if necessary (See Section 5.2.2).

Perform calibration of quartz reference pressure transducers (Q-RPTs), if necessary
(see Section 5.3)
5.4.2 Reloading Embedded Software into RPM4-E-DWT
Flash Memory
RPM4-E-DWT uses FLASH memory. This allows the embedded software that controls
RPM4-E-DWT operations and functions to be loaded into RPM4-E-DWT over its COM1 port
from a computer with a simple FLASH loading utility program.
To replace corrupted software or upgrade your software, access the DHI web site at
www.dhinstruments.com and go to SOFTWARE . A FLASH loading utility and the latest
RPM4-E-DWT software are available for download at no charge. If you do not have access
to the web or have difficulty downloading or loading software, contact your
DHI representative
or a DHI Authorized Service Provider (see Table 19) for assistance.
If you believe you have discovered an error or “bug” in RPM4-E-DWT software, please report
it with complete details by email to
cal.repair@dhinstruments.com .

The DHI flash software loading utility and RPM4-E-DWT embedded
software are available for download from www.dhinstruments.com in the

5.4.3 Filling E-DWT-H with Calibration Fluid and Purging Air
Using the Optional Fill Kit
Note
A standard E-DWT-H is delivered already filled and primed with Sebacate
calibration fluid and should not need additional filling and priming before
use. E-DWT-H for use with a fluid other than Sebacate is delivered empty
and will need to be filled and primed before use.

This procedure is necessary only for an E-DWT-H delivered empty of calibration fluid, for use
with a calibration fluid other than Sebacate or if the E-DWT-H has been emptied and purged
of fluid.
To fill and purge an E-DWT-H with calibration fluid using the optional fill kit, proceed as
follows:
