Setting screen saver time to zero eliminates the SCREEN
SAVER function so that the display permanently remains at full
brightness.

OPERATION

To access the SCREEN SAVER function, press

[SPECIAL]

to dim the screen. Set the time to zero to eliminate the SCREEN SAVER function.

3.9.5.2 <2SOUND>

PURPOSE

To adjust or suppress the RPM4-E-DWT valid key press sound.

Note

See Section 3.6.4 for information on the complete list of sounds
made by RPM4-E-DWT and their meanings.

PRINCIPLE

RPM4-E-DWT provides audible feedback by a brief “beep” when a valid key
press is made. The tone frequency of this beep may be selected from three
choices or it may be completely suppressed. Invalid key presses are indicated by
a descending two tone “blurp” which cannot be suppressed.

OPERATION

To access the keypad sound adjustment function press

Note

The sound function only affects the valid key press tone. The

PURPOSE

To view and edit the RPM4-E-DWT internal time and date settings.

OPERATION

To access the TIME function
press

to edit the time. Edit hours, then minutes, then am/pm by

pressing

[ENT]

after each entry. Seconds go to zero when minutes are entered.

This can be used to synchronize the time with a time standard.

format.
