Initial system setup andconfiguration
Setting up your system
Complete the following steps to set up your system:
1
Unpack the sled.
2
Remove the I/O connector cover from the sled connectors.
CAUTION:
Whileinstalling the sled, ensure that it is properly aligned with the slot on the enclosureto prevent damageto the
sled connectors.

Installthesledintheenclosure.
4
Turn on the enclosure.
NOTE:
Wait for the chassis to initialize before you press the power button.

Turn on the sled by pressing the power button on the sled.
Alternatively, you can also turn on the sledbyusing:
• TheslediDRAC.Formoreinformation,seethe LogintoiDRACsection.
• TheenclosureChassisManagementController(CMC),aftertheslediDRACisconfiguredontheCMC.Formoreinformation,see
