Installing and removing sled components
NOTE:
You must remove the SSD cage to replace a faulty SSD cage or service other components inside the system.

Followthesafetyguidelineslistedinthe Safetyinstructions section.

FollowtheprocedurelistedintheBefore workinginside yoursystemsection.

Keep the Phillips #1 screwdriver ready.
Steps
1
Align the slots onthe sides of the SSD cage withthe guide pins on the chassis.
2
Push the SSD cage into the chassis until the screwholes on the chassis are aligned withtheholesonthe SSDcage.
3
Slide the SSD cage into thechassis till the IDSDM card connector engages completely withthe connector onthesystem board.
4
Secure the SSD cage to the chassis with the screws.
