Procedure: Install the Dummy Network Adaptation Module in the ONS 15252 MCU

You must install a Dummy Network Adaptation module (DNAM) in all unused NAM slots.

Step 1

Align a DNAM with an empty NAM slot.

Step 2

Carefully insert the DNAM into the slot. Be sure the DNAM connector and the backplane connector mate
correctly, and that no fibers are pinched in the process.
