Manual Tuning

Press the up or down arrow on the

TUNE

control

for less than a half

second to manually tune the radio

step by step to either a higher or

lower frequency.
The frequency of the AM band

changes 9kHz (or 5kHz or 10 kHz)

each time and the frequency of the

FM band changes 50kHz (or

100kHz or 200kHz) each time.

Station Seeking

Press the up or down arrow on the

TUNE

You must press the button for

more than a half second.

The radio will go to the next high-

er or lower station and stay there.

Preset Station Buttons

The station preset buttons

allow

you to store and quickly recall six

stations on each band.
To store a radio station as a preset,

do the following:

1. Press

repeatedly to

select the desired radio band.

2. Tune in the station.
3. Press and hold the desired

preset button for more than

two seconds.

To select a preset station, press the

corresponding preset station

button for less than one second.

Cassette Tape Player

Insert the cassette with the tape

visible to the right.
The tape will begin to play once it

is inserted.

PLAY

will appear when a tape is

active.

Fast Forwarding

Press

ahead to another part of the tape.
The tape direction arrow will flash

during this operation.
