Starting and Operating Instructions

Alarm Warning

If this theft deterrent system is

armed, the alarm will go off any

time a door, the rear hatch or the

hood is opened without using the

key or keyless entry transmitter.
To turn off the alarm:
• Press the lock or unlock button

on the remote keyless entry

transmitter.

• Or wait 30 seconds and the

alarm will automatically stop.

The system will lock the doors

and reset the armed theft

deterrent system.

If the system does not operate as

described above, see your dealer

for service.

Disarming the System

Press the unlock button on the

remote keyless entry transmitter.
All doors will unlock, the hazard

lights will flash twice and the anti-

theft system will disarm.
If the door is not opened or

the engine is not started within

30 seconds of disarming the

system, the system will lock the

doors and reset the armed theft

deterrent system.

ENTRY (IF EQUIPPED)

This option allows you to lock or

unlock your doors from up to 6 m

away.
Note:

Operating the remote keyless

entry system may interact with

the vehicle's theft deterrent

system (if equipped).
