Description of Symbols and Notes

This symbol is used to indicate dangers, warnings, or precautions. The risk is divided
into three groups:

Danger:

For an imminent danger, leading to severe injury or death.

Warning: For potentially dangerous situations which may lead to severe personal

injury or death.

Caution:

For a potentially dangerous situation which may lead to light injury. Also
indicates warnings referring to damage of property.

WARNING - High Voltage!

This sign is used when there is a danger of getting an electric shock. All electrical
works at the system may only be carried out by qualified workers. Ensure that all
national and local safety requirements are observed.

WARNING - Explosive gas compounds!

This sign is used when there is a danger of explosion by using explosive and
combustible gases or dust or when such explosive and combustible gases or dust can
be formed in the exhaust gas pipes.

WARNING - Toxic substances!

This sign is used when there is a danger of contacting toxic materials existing in the
system.

WARNING - Inflammable gases!

This sign is used when there is a danger of fire.

WARNING - Noxious and irritating dust particles and vapors!

This sign is used when there is a danger of contacting noxious materials existing in the
equipment.

WARNING - Caustic or corrosive material!

This sign is used when there is a danger of causticization and/or corrosion by
components handled or occurring in the equipment.
