Cleaning the Condensate Line

The following condensate line components (option) for POCL

3

equipment must be

cleaned every two weeks or after 200 runs:

—

condensation bottle

—

precipitation container

—

exhaust lance

—

spherical sleeves

—

drip pan

The following components are required additionally:

—

stopper for closing the condensation bottle

—

stopper for closing the precipitation container

centrotherm recommends to have the components in stock as wearing parts.

Replace the components to be cleaned by new or cleaned components. After this the
system can be immediately put into operation again, minimizing downtimes.

If the cleaned components do not show any damages they can be used again in the
next cleaning interval. Pay attention to the state of the precipitation container and the
spherical sleeves. These must be replaced by new ones after 8 weeks; this
corresponds to 800 runs.

If a defect at a component is determined during cleaning then the component must be
disposed of correctly and replaced by a new one.
