13. Insert packing cord into the flange at the toxic gas cabinet side.

14. Slide the flange onto the centering pins on the gas cabinet side and manually

tighten the nuts.

15. Install the water cooling at the flange on the gas cabinet side.

16. Firmly tighten the nuts of the flanges on the front and gas cabinet side.

17. Mount the flange cover with sight glasses onto the back flange.

18. Open the water supply for the flange cooling and check for leaks.

19. Install the HF lances and connect the HF cables.

20. Slide the spike thermocouples into the heating cassette until they touch the

process tube. Use spring clips to secure the spike thermocouples against sliding
out.

21. Install the tube case.

22. Install the profiling thermocouple, see chapter 9.5.3 Installing a Profiling

Thermocouple in Vacuum Systems, page 9-54.

23. Connect the gas supply to the back flange.

24. Install the bellow and the seals of the vacuum suction pipe.

25. Install the tube door, see chapter 9.4.3.3 Installing the Tube Closure - Vacuum

System, page 9-52.

26. Install the paddle and adjust the position with regard to the process tube, see

chapter 9.9 Aligning the Softlanding-System (SLS), page 9-63.

27. Adjust the HF lances with the process boat.

28. Switch on the heating and slowly heat up the process tube, please refer to the

suppliers' documents listed in chapter 12.10 Suppliers' Documents, page 12-4.

29. Measure the heating currents.

30. Carry out a vacuum leakage test. The leak rate during this test may not exceed

>2 mTorr/min.
